Pierre L. Morrissette is Morrissette is founder of Pelmorex Media Inc. – owner of the most successful Canadian specialty Network, The Weather Network. He has contributed over $2.5 million to fund the work of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
In 2003, Pelmorex was awarded the Conference Board of Canada’s Vision Award and was named by Mediacorp Canada as one of the Top 100 Employers to work for in the country. Morrissette is passionate about entrepreneurship and wholeheartedly supports Ivey’s commitment to the field. He is an Ivey MBA graduate of 1972, an active member of the Entrepreneurship Council and member of the Ivey Advisory Board.
