Three Ivey alumni received the Ernst & Young Ontario Region Entrepreneur of the Year award: Anton Rabie and Ben Veradi (Spin Master Toys), and Robert Deluce (Porter Airlines).
This is the time of year when the marketing faculty as well as Ivey MBA and HBA students begin the SABRE simulation. SABRE is a computer-based business simulation that offers students the opportunity to work in teams on marketing strategies in competition with teams who are assigned to the same virtual industry.
I took a deep breath and clicked on the email with the subject title “Important Information from Ivey”. Why don’t they just tell you in the subject line? I clicked, closed my eyes and prepared myself for the worst. “Dear Adwoa, Congratulations!”
