Congratulations to Ivey’s StAthletes who tied for 1st Place at this past weekend’s Cardinal Challenge Business Plan Competition held at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

Led by Ivey MBA 2011 Candidates Neil Lane, Wayne Lam and Chris Chadwick,  along with business partners Meghan Chayka and John Chayka, StAthletes secured top prize with a business plan that redefines the assessment of individual and team athletic performance.

The Cardinal Challenge invited 12 graduate student teams from leading Universities across North America, including Johns Hopkins, Purdue, U Arkansas, U Oregon and U Manitoba, to present their business plans and participate in an elevator pitch competition.

In addition to $10,000 in prize money, StAthletes also advances to the next level of competition and will represent Ivey/UWO at Venture Labs Investment Competition hosted by The University of Texas at Austin in May, where they will compete with 40 graduate student teams from around the world for over $100,000 in cash and prizes.

Congratulations, StAthletes, for hitting one out of the park!
